Preliminary Ecological Appraisals lets you know what's on your site before it becomes problem during planning
A Preliminary Ecological Appraisal (known as a PEA) is the baseline ecology report that supports a planning applications where a site could potentially hold habitat or protected species. It has a combination of desk studies and walkovers. It helps record protected species, priority habitats, and designated sites with a walkover survey of the site itself, then sets out in a single report what is present, what it means for your proposals, and whether further surveys are likely to be triggered from it. We carry out PEAs for developers, planning consultants, architects, and contractors. Get in touch with us today for a free discussion on what’s best suited for you.
