In 2023 Exo Environmental installed a series of brushwood fences on Packing Shed Island and Cob Marsh Island, located off Mersea island, within the Blackwater estuary, Essex.

Due to habitat loss and predation by invasive species, the water vole is now seldom seen on British waterways.

Earlier this year Exo continued our collaboration with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trusts Wilder Humber Project, which aims to restore functioning peatland in South Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire. 

We are experts at carrying out Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA’s).

Situated alongside the scenic River Ouse and its excellent angling spots, Barcombe Reservoir near Lewes in East Sussex is one of many water sources operated by South East Water (SEW).
